Purpose

• The purpose of the water technician position is, among other things, to facilitate assessment of rural water service potential accessibility;
• provide support to the design and preparation of bill of quantity of water schemes;
• work with private sector actors to facilitate access to water services, support quantifying systems and procedures that ensure the access and proper use of water supply schemes,
• facilitate and support the planning, implementation and monitoring of the operation and installation of water supply schemes,
• facilitate and support commissioning of water pumps, generators, solar systems, hand-pumps, etc.;
• facilitate the delivery of technical trainings to WASHCOs and WUAs. S/he will be engaged in the facilitation of the day-to-day operations of the project in areas of assignment

Requirements

Qualification : MSc/BSc in Water Resource Engineering or related fields.

Experience: At least 3/5 years relevant experience
