Job Summary

As part of Green Impact Fund Program Vita is implementing water access through community led approach by repairing
broken water points to access safe and clean water for rural households in selected woredas of South Gonder zone. The
position holder is responsible to efficiently manage the project to address the unmet need of clean drinking water to the
target communities

Major Duties & Responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage the overall objective of the water project
• Lead screening processes of broken water points in collaboration with zonal and respective woreda water experts based on
  agreed selection criterio
• Lead the quality of water test activities in collaboration with the respective government partners
• Ensure project results meet high-quality standards and the project deliverables are complete on time and within budget
• Create close contact with spare part suppliers for non-functional water point maintenance through devising joint procedure
  for implementation

Job Requirement

Education Requirements

•  BSC or MSc Degree from the recognized college/ University in Water resources Engineering, Water Resources Management,
  or related field of studies

Work Experience

•  Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
• Excellent qualitative and quantitative data analytical skill
• Excellent written and verbal communication in Amharic and English languages and report writing skill
• Strong knowledge of data collection, analysis and interpretation
• Proficiency in computer software application
• 5-7 years NGO working experience in the field is essential

Terms of Employment: One-year contract and renewable based on the performance
