The Ethiopian Red Cross Society (ERCS) is a humanitarian organization providing services to communities affected by natural and manmade disasters through the provision of emergency responses, ambulance and first aid, family reunification, essential drugs, water and sanitation, and other humanitarian services.

Work Unit :- Humanitarian Diplomacy and Communication Service

Key Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, storyboard and execute video projects from start to finish
• Edit raw footage into compelling and visually appealing video that align with the organizations objectives.
• Create motion graphics, animations and visually appealing videos content.
• Design graphics and layouts for print and digital materials such as brochures, posters, banners and newsletters.
• Collaborate with the commination team to develop creative concepts and strategies for visual content.
• Ensure consistency in branding and messaging across all visual materials.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practice in video editing ,motions graphics and graphics design
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Qualification

Bachler degree in Film production ,graphics Design ,multimedia or related field
Proven work experience minimum 4 year experience in video editing, motion graphics and graphics design .preferably in a non-profit or humanitarian organization.

Other skills

• Proficiency in Video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or any other skill
• Strong skills in motion graphics and animation using software like Adobe After Effects.
• Proficiency in graphics design software such as Adobe Photoshop ,Illustrator, or in design
• Excellent understanding of visual storytelling , composition and typography.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of team and willing to take creative direction
