Job Description


KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU vehicle in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Vehicle Sales Supervisor position.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate and supervise the vehicle sales activities in ways that meet customer requirements while ensuring achievement of stated sales performance goals and objectives.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize, direct, supervise and the sales of vehicles to achieve sales goals.
  • Prepare annual sales plans and budget for sales team.
  • Ensure that Sales of vehicle is performed in accordance with company policies and procedures while maintaining customer satisfaction at all times.
  • Make proper follow up on customer order and liaise with the Import department to ensure timely delivery of the ordered vehicle.
  • Ensure that necessary sales documents are prepared properly; and handed over to the concerned parties after they are checked and signed by the authorized persons.
  • Ensure that vehicles sold are delivered as per the specification and customer order.
  • Ensure compliance of sales operation with all legal commercial laws and procedures, and duties, licenses and restrictions.
  • Monitor, guide and support the performance of the sales team ensure that sales targets are met at all times.
  • Ensure that there is proper distribution of price list, and stock for all sales team.
  • Control vehicle sales activities to be completed within budget, and planned time.
  • Maintain positive relationships with key customers and other relevant stake holders to ensure that the company’s maximum sales potential is realized.
  • Ensure that sales related documents such as CPO, checks, trade license, power of attorney etc. are appropriate and legally acceptable.
  • Monitor sales transactions and review customer response for all orders of vehicle body work, title transfer processes and payments and resolve other customer issues.
  • Ensure vehicle body work orders are performed as per the customer requirements.
  • Build and promote strong, long-lasting customer relationships by understanding and meeting their expectations.
  • Ensure that all customer records are maintained both in soft and hard copy formats.
  • Coach on day-to-day operational systems to the sales team.
  • Identify training need of staff members and coordinate with the Training officer to implement training programs.
  • Conduct employee performance appraisal periodically to evaluate how well employees have completed their duty and to take any needful action accordingly.
  • Prepare daily/weekly reports and for submission to the Sales Department Manager.

Job Requirements

Qualification : BA Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field

Work Experience : 7 years in relevant role

Skills and Abilities:

  • Computer skill, communication skills, English language proficiency
  • Cross functional team, excellent mentoring, coaching and reporting skill
  • Understanding of accounting or finance
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Customer Handling Skill
