Job Description


Kerchanshe Group is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, and engage in manufacturing, agro-processing and export business. It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently Kerchanshe Group needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Job Purpose:

To overall administration of construction contracts, from the initial bid process to the final closeout, includes preparing and negotiating contracts, managing contract changes, resolving disputes, and ensuring compliance with all contractual terms and conditions.

Duties and Responsibilities

Generic Duties

Lead, coordinate and oversee day-to-day operation of team members,
Set clear team goals and follow up their implementation,
Ensures employees follow health and safety regulations,

Main Duties

  • Prepare tender documentation, including the compilation of schedules of rates, schedules of works, designs, drawings, conditions of contracts, specifications etc,.
    Develops and presents project proposals that meet clients’ requirements,
    Review plans and estimated budgets and timescales for the project,
    Review and approve all contracts before they are signed,
    Discuss, draft, review and negotiate the terms of contracts,
    In collaboration with other functions oversee construction schedules and budgets,
    Act as the main point of contact for clients and project managers,
    Make sure construction projects meet agreed technical standards asper the contract,
    Monitors the performance of contracts to ensure compliance with all terms and conditions,
    Negotiates contract changes and amendments as needed,
    Approve Master Schedules and ensures compliance with the requirements of the respective Contracts,
    Approve as-built drawings and manuals and confirms compliance of all deliverables with accepted designs and requirements,
    Ensures that all projects comply with building codes and any other legal or regulatory requirements,
    Performs other duties assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Requirements

Qualification and Skills : BSc or MSc in Construction Management or Civil Engineering or related field of studies.

Experience:

  • 5 years for BSc
    3 years for MSc
