Job Summary

• To perform pretender initiations at various governmental and no governmental institutions who may become prospective clients.
• To follow new tenders announcements from media and commercial outlets and present the announcements of interest to the Department and play a major role in decision making.
• To follow up on the acquisition of bid documents from the various issuing institutions and to thoroughly evaluate the terms of the bid and to streamline tasks according to the terms and to ensure that tasks are well completed within the allotted timeframe.
• To correspond with international suppliers in a professional Manner and to obtain from them prices, technical specifications and other documents that will contribute to the timely submission of tenders.
• Prepared and submit a bid document and also attend tenders opening sessions and to prepare a summary of the session for the Department Director.
• To perform follow-up on the status of tenders that were entered in to and perform post tenders initiations.
• To be committed to excellence and teamwork as well as have the flexibility to learn and adapt to new knowledge and skills pertaining to the job.
• To perform other tasks as assigned by Department Director.

Job Requirement

Education: – BA degree in business Administration, Marketing or any related field.

Experience: – Minimum of 3 years work experience in tender analysis and related position.  Commercial shipping background is an advantage.

Required Skills

• High proficiency in windows and MS Office environment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Excellent in English both written and spoken.
• Able to work flexible hours & meet deadlines
