Job Description


About the Job

  • Manage and maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, including hardware, software, and networking systems.
  • Closely monitor network performance, immediately troubleshoot whenever issues arise, and work for constant improvement.
  • Assist in selecting software and IT services for purchase and handle communications with IT service providers.
  • Regularly review the company’s IT devices like computers, printers, and cameras.
  • Provide technical support to staff members, promptly addressing all IT-related issues and inquiries.
  • Collaborate with the software development team in research, analysis, data encoding, and basic development.
  • Design and generate system reports for team leaders, managers, and teams using ERP, excel or any required tool.
  • Give adequate training for staff members in person, via documentation and training videos as per scenarios.
  • Prepare written and video documentation for existing and new systems and features the company may introduce.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Software engineering, computer science, or any related field.
  • Prior exposure and knowledge of computer hardware and hardware troubleshooting.
  • Proven networking skills (Networking course certification will be appreciated).
  • Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical staff members.
  • Eager to learn and discover.
  • Patience, politeness, discipline and confidence.
  • Fluency in English and Amharic (both spoken and written).
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
