This is an opportunity to do exciting, cutting-edge work with leaders in the AI and Multimedia business. We are looking for a technical lead who will take charge of technical teams and various development duties, such as coding, database, and web/mobile application development.
Project:
Mindplex is the all-in-one Multi-Media Project featuring the following three major components. 1) A media content project, aka the Mindplex Magazine is a website and mobile application. Our platform is a multimedia magazine, which means the content will be in text, video, audio, image, and VR formats.2) An AI technology project, aka the Mindplex AI is a set of AI tools and services aimed at the media industry. Examples are AIbrarian chatbot, Virtual Characters, and Fake/Biased News Detector. 3) A membership network, aka the Mindplex Platform is Mindplex Media Network whose members guide the site, and this includes the governance portal, the Mwikifik (the collaborative fiction writing platform), and the NFT marketplace.
Requirements:
We are seeking a senior software engineer to oversee the company’s technical team and all projects they undertake, analyze briefs, write progress reports, identify risks, and develop work schedules as a tech lead. Initially, you will perform coding assignments, review and debug existing codes for accuracy and optimization, and create, review, and implement design plans. The routine activities will include analyzing code segments regularly, delegating tasks to team members, and keeping up-to-date with industry trends and technology developments.
A good candidate will have a balanced mix of leadership, creativity, analytic, imaginative, technical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills. You will be expected to:
- Lead the tech team in planning and implementing development sprints while delegating tasks and achieving daily, weekly, and monthly goals
- Determine project requirements and develop work schedules for the team
- Liaising with team members and management to ensure projects are completed to the standard

Desirable:
- Fluency in PHP, PYTHON, and HTML and Solid experience in coding
- Experience in DevOps (Yes you are the unifier and your successful DevOps adoption matters!)
