Job Description


TIBEB Design and Build PLC is seeking a detail-oriented and organized Store Keeper to manage inventory, stock control, and documentation related to the receipt and issuance of materials. The ideal candidate will ensure proper storage, stock updates, and inventory reconciliation in compliance with company standards.

1. Store Keeper

Employment Type: Full-time (6-month contract, subject to extension based on performance)

Number of Vacancies: 5

About You

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years of relevant experience in storekeeping and inventory management, preferably in a corporate company or a Grade 1–3 construction company.
  • Experience using ERP or inventory management software is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the timely and efficient loading/unloading of delivery trucks.
  • Maintain discretion and sound judgment in labeling and storing materials.
  • Keep accurate records/documentation of received materials and stock movements.
  • Ensure proper storage of incoming supplies and retrieval when needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area while categorizing stock appropriately.
  • Use computerized stock management systems for inventory control.
  • Perform regular stock checks and updates to prevent shortages.
  • Verify delivered goods against purchase orders and report discrepancies.
  • Maintain BIN card records and ensure accurate reconciliation of stock.
  • Prepare periodic reports (weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi -annual, annual).
  • Ensure fire safety measures and report lost/stolen/damaged items.
  • Follow company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for issuing and returning tools.
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

  • Proven experience in store management and stock control.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and troubleshooting skills.
  • Trustworthy, transparent, and dedicated to ensuring inventory accuracy.
  • Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficiency in computerized warehouse record-keeping systems (ERP, Excel, Word, etc.).
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills for stock tracking and reporting.

2. Fuel Attendant

Position: Fuel Attendant

Job Location: Project Site – Logistics Department

Employment Type: Contract Basis

About You

Required Qualification:

  • Minimum of a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, COTM, Chemical Engineering, or other related fields.

Experience Required:

  • Relevant experience in fuel distribution and control is an added advantage.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Fuel distribution and control.
  • Preparing daily and weekly fuel reports.
  • Data recording and documentation.

3. Inventory Management Officer

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day management of inventory, including stock levels, storage, and movement of goods.
  • Streamline inventory movement among stores efficiently.
  • Track and maintain accurate records of all inventory items, ensuring that physical stock matches system data.
  • Regularly conduct inventory counts (physical and cycle counts) and reconcile any discrepancies.
  • Ensure compliance with inventory management procedures and instructions.
  • Develop and implement SOPs and operational processes for stock management.
  • Improve and develop operational systems, processes, and local guidelines.
  • Manage the department, lead, coach, and support staff.
  • Identify and mitigate operational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational operational policies and procedures.
  • Maintain up-to-date records of inventory levels, property allocations, and asset status.
  • Prepare detailed reports on inventory usage, losses, and damages with recommendations for improvements.
  • Provide regular updates to senior management regarding inventory and property management activities.
  • Ensure stock balance reports are updated regularly with accurate and real-time data.
  • Coordinate the preparation of operational stock reports for management.
  • Plan and monitor inventory replenishment to avoid overstocking and shortages.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and inventory management policies.
  • Collaborate with other departments (finance, procurement, logistics) to ensure smooth inventory operations.
  • Support and train staff on proper inventory handling procedures, asset tagging, and reporting protocols.
About You

Required Qualifications:

  • Master’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in business administration, logistics, and supply management.
  • At least 4 years of experience in leadership and management positions in the supply chain and inventory management sector.
  • Strong experience in building teams and delivering results in complex and dynamic environments.
  • Proficiency in using digital tools and platforms for operations and documentation.
  • Experience in corporate and construction office settings is an advantage.
  • Strong command of the English language.

Skills and Competencies:

  • In-depth understanding of inventory management principles and procurement processes.
  • Proficient in inventory management software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify and resolve inventory-related issues effectively.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with multiple departments to enhance operational efficiency.

4. Fleet & Machinery Timekeeper

Job Location: Project Site (Logistics Department)
Number of Vacancies: 2
Employment Type: Contract-based

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Keep track of trucks, machinery, and equipment usage.
  • Monitor operational hours, idle hours, and downtime.
  • Prepare and submit reports on payment and operational status.
  • Follow up on overall machinery activities.
About You

Qualifications

  • Minimum of a BSc Degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Experience in machinery and fleet management is preferred.

5. Machinery & Equipment Inspector

Job Location: Head Office/Project Site (Logistics Department)

Number of Vacancies: 2

Employment Type: Contract-based

About You

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Minimum of a BSc Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electromechanical Engineering, or other related fields.
  • Certification in machinery inspection is an added advantage.
  • Prior experience in machinery and equipment inspection is preferred.

Main Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Conduct machinery and equipment inspections.
  • Record and report inspection data.
  • Perform efficiency assessments and follow up on performance.
  • Prepare assessment reports.
