Job Description

WVE livelihood programming aims to increase household income and access to nutritious food, enabling parents and caregivers to provide basic needs for their children. Because WVE’s target communities are largely dependent upon subsistence agriculture, interventions focus on improving production and productivity with approaches such as sustainable land management and natural resource use, as well a mobilizing community savings groups and facilitating local value chain development. As a component of resilience, programming also addresses household and community capacity to adapt and recover from disasters.
