POSITION SUMMARY

• Under the direction of Logistic Manager; Store Head receives, stores, issues, distributes,
• Controls and supervise all store items. Provide training and work direction to Store Keepers, Store Control, Store Clerk, and Daily Labor.

EXPECTED DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Receives, stores, issues, distributes, controls and supervise all store items;
• Provide training and work direction to Store Keepers, Store Control, Store Clerk, and Daily Labor;
• Receive and inspect all incoming materials and reconciles with purchase orders;
• Ensures processing and distribute documentation with purchase orders; reports, documents and tracks damages and discrepancies on orders received;
• Inspect all incoming consignments for quality and quantity and produce report to Logistic Manager;
• Ensures production and issuance of the necessary documentation;
• Identify slow and fast moving items and reports to the immediate supervisor;
• Constantly review stocks levels;
• Ensures the recording of items in and out and maintains updated inventories of items held;
• Notify purchasing of items to be purchased;
• Controls stock by ensuring that the right quantity and quality of stocks are always maintained;
• Regularly inspects and produce reports on stock for deterioration and damage;
• Ensures and maintains the warehouse, record area and stores area in a neat and orderly manner;
• Ensures and maintains good stock records of all receipts, issues and balances of stocks;
• Ensures that all necessary store documentation are completed in time;
• Decides on optimum store layout, ensuring as far as possible that items are always kept in good condition at the minimum cost;
• Ensures and implements security and safety procedures/measures in the store;
• Assists inventory taking process in accurately identifying and using the right unit of issue for counting stocks;
• Prepares periodic reports on expenditure and storekeeping activities and advice on future storekeeping policies when necessary, and Performs related duties as required.

• BA degree in Accounting, Management, Business management, supply Chain management and other related social studies
• At least having 3 years of working experience in store related duties in Manufacturing Industries especially in supervisory level.
