Job Description

As a Social Media & Website Manager, your responsibilities will include:

  • Social Media Management: Develop and implement content strategies across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn). Manage daily posts, monitor interactions, and create engaging content aligned with our brand’s mission and values.
  • Website Management: Update and maintain our website using platforms like WordPress or Wix. You’ll ensure all pages are visually appealing, up to date, optimized for SEO, and mobile-friendly.
  • Content Creation: Collaborate with our marketing team to create compelling written content, infographics, and graphic designs that enhance our online presence.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Monitor and analyze performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, social media insights, and SEO tools. Provide actionable insights and recommendations.
  • Campaign Planning: Help plan and execute social media campaigns to promote training programs, consultancy services, and special initiatives related to our consultancy work.
  • SEO & Content Strategy: Ensure that website content is optimized for search engines and aligned with our digital marketing goals.
  • Email Marketing: Assist with creating email newsletters, announcements, and promotional campaigns to engage our community.

About You

Minimum Requirements

Experience:

  • At least 2-3 years of experience in social media management and website administration.
  • Demonstrated success in growing social media presence and increasing online engagement.
  • Solid understanding of website management, SEO optimization, and analytics tools like Google Analytics.
  • Proficiency with content management systems such as WordPress, Wix, or similar platforms.
  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.

Educational Background:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, Business Administration, or a related field. Relevant work experience may also be considered in lieu of formal education.

Required Skills:

  • Social Media Management: Experience managing Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, TikTok, and Telegram, with knowledge of trends, best practices, and algorithms.
  • Content Creation: Strong skills in creating engaging content, writing, and using graphic design tools like Canva or Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Website Management: Experience with WordPress or Wix and basic HTML/CSS knowledge for website updates.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Proficiency in Google Analytics and social media tools to track and analyse performance metrics.
  • SEO: Knowledge of SEO best practices for optimizing website content and improving search engine rankings.
  • Campaign Management: Ability to plan and execute social media campaigns and manage content calendars.
  • Paid Ads (Optional): Familiarity with Facebook Ads and optimizing paid campaigns.
  • Communication: Strong communication skills for collaboration with teams and clients.
  • Time Management: Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently.
  • Work Independently: Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently to meet deadlines.
  • Creativity: Creative problem-solving and a collaborative mindset.

Preferred Skills (Not Mandatory): 

  • Experience running paid social media ad campaigns (Facebook Ads, Instagram Ads).
  • Familiarity with video editing for social platforms (TikToks, Cupcut, ).
  • Experience with email marketing platforms like Mailchimp or Constant Contact.
