Job Description


Duties

  • Overlooking all our business operations in the shop assigned.
  • Marketing
  • Audit & Controls
  • Staff management/Supervision
  • Promotion, development and monitoring trade.
  • Management of relations and interactions with all our sub-dealers/customers.
  • Any other duties as delegated by the management.
  • Inventory control and recording

Sales Targets

  • Support achievement of set sales targets i.e. daily, weekly, quarterly and annually as given by the HOD Marketing.
  • Ensure that all sales staffs are aware of their targets by time, route and segments

Development/Execution of sales programs

  • Prepare and plan sales and promotion programs aimed at expansion of customer base, share growth e.g. Sales promotions, Road shows, phone fairs etc in the region of responsibility.
  • Perform market analysis for existing market and for new potential penetration in the region

Customer Retention and Acquisition : Ensure that we keep and get new customers in the region.

Staff management/supervision.

  • To effectively manage staff through effective monitoring of performance and advising the HR Department on the same.
  • Undertake market visit and planned coaching for DSPs at least three times a week
  • Avail her/him self on daily morning meetings with ASM and TDRs and ensure all parties attend the meeting
  • Follow up tasks raised in daily morning meetings and flag issues when required

Shop Operations

  • To ensure that all things are in place in the outlet to facilitate smooth operation.
  • The distributor, DSPs and Sales assistants targets are known and visible on Distributor performance board
  • The target is split per SKU, per day, per route, and per DSP
  • Visual display/Book of performance updated every day before the morning meeting starts and ensure DSPs daily sales reports and route plans are reviewed by TDRs/ASM

Audit : To comply and conform for any audit queries and process as directed from the business

Job Requirements

Experience and Qualification

  • Degree in any business related field, with supervisor role
  • Experience in FMCG sector 2 + -5 years

  • Communication skills both in Amharic and English orally as well as written
  • People skills

  • Punctual
