Job Description


KAKI PLC is an official dealer and assembler of ISUZU vehicle in Ethiopia. It is also engaged in different business lines including import, export, metal fabrication, after sales services, and cargo freight transport operations. The company wishes to employ a qualified professional for the Service Marketing Officer position.

General Duties and Responsibilities:

Responsible for continuously conducting service marketing and promotional activities to broaden customer base for the after-sales service activities and thereby helping the Engineering Business Unit in meeting its business goals and objectives.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the process of developing marketing strategies that include service marketing, advertising, and promotional activities to meet objectives of the sales department.
  • Participate in the process of developing customer service policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Implement, review and report on all marketing activity and results.
  • Deliver the service marketing activities within the agreed budget.
  • Perform special promotional activities as specified by Isuzu, and measure its impact in terms of increase in the number of vehicles brought in to Isuzu service shops.
  • Track and analyze the performance of advertising campaigns, manage the marketing budget and ensure that all marketing material is in line with the ISUZU standards.
  • Ensure that all marketing activities influence customers to get their vehicles repaired and maintained at the service workshop of KAKI.
  • Keep accurate records and document implementation of marketing promotional activities and results achieved.
  • Work closely with all concerned units to ensure that marketing and promotional activities produce the desired outcomes.
  • Educate and update customers by using applicable methods about changed features of products and/or service, price and other aspects.
  • Conduct research and analysis current market conditions and competitor information for recommending required changes on the after sales activities.
  • Identify areas for improvement in the After Sales services, marketing strategy, and promotional activities.
  • Expand and develop marketing mediums/platforms including – print, radio, television, direct mail, telephone, email, social media, mobile marketing etc. for effectively marketing the after sales services.
  • Prepare periodic activity reports for submission to the Workshop Manager.

About You

Required Number           :  1(One)

Qualification                    :  BSc Degree/Diploma in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing Management or related fields

Work Experience            :  4 years for B.Sc. Degree, and 6 years for Diploma in relevant role
