Job Description


  1. Organizes, manages & controls the store using up to date standards
  2. Arranges the periodic physical count of inventory; initiates the reconciliation of actual inventory & inventory balance on the records.
  3. Verifies & approves the appropriateness materials issue & receipt vouchers.
  4. Manage and maintain the company’s inventory including stock profiles and stock locations.
  5. Provides routine management information on inventory performance.
  6. Monitors and evaluates spare parts & consumables usage & costs.
  7. Assumes responsibility for managing and running planned stock levels.
  8. Exerts efforts & controls to avoid obsolescence, damage, spoilage or capital tied up; identifies & reports slow moving materials to manager.
  9. Ensures that materials in store have insurance policies.
  10. Ensures proper arrangement & storage of materials.
  11. Develops economic usage of store & presents to responsible body; implements after approval.
  12. Distinguishes the materials returned to store in to those which are usable & worthless; initiates the discarding of worthless items & the repair of usable materials.
  13. Makes storage of items no longer needed by the company in the separate place & properly; produces reports on mechanism of selling these items.Generates periodic reports about its duty& presents to the Manager
About You

MSc/MA/BSc /BA/ in Supply Chain Management/ Property Management or related field of studies 4/6years of relevant experience
