JOB SUMMARY

• Prepares financial statement in accordance with acceptable financial reporting Standard
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliation
• Prepare periodic statements of Loans and Advances
• Authorize Accounting transactions, account opening and closing as per the delegation of Authority of the Bank.
• Review balance confirmation letter to external auditors for requested customer accounts
• Prepare quarterly, semi-annually and annual performance reports Prepare the operational plan, budget & performance report of the directorate.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

JOB REQUIREMENT

Minimum Education & Experience:

• 1 Degree or above in Management, Accounting, Accounting and Finance, Banking & Finance,
• Business Administration, preferably with certification in ACCA
• 7/5/3 years of relevant experience for 1 degree, 2 degree or PhD holder, respectively.
• 2 years of experience as senior expert in financial institutions; banking sector experience is preferred

Skills & Abilities:

• Ability to handle multiple tasks
  Effective communication
  Critical thinking & attention to details
  Report writing
  Good interpretation and analysis of budget and Financial Statement.
  Thorough understanding on accounting standards like IFRS
  Strong accounting skills and experience, including management of general ledger, journal entries and financial reports.
  Advanced computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel
