The government of the Federal Democratic Republic of Ethiopia (FDRE) clearly recognizes that corruption hinders development, democratization and good governance endeavors. Hence, it has been striving to prevent and combat this socio-economic evil by designing various strategies. The anti-corruption endeavor in Ethiopia is part and parcel of the major reform programs launched in 1996 at national level. Those political, economic, and social reforms were launched to enhance the overall development of the Country and to strengthen the democratization and good governance endeavors throughout the country.

About the Role

Federal Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (FEACC) is looking for short term ethics training module development Adviser to lead the comprehensive module preparation process. The module preparation Adviser, will oversee in relevant data collection analysis and interpretation on module preparation process. The adviser will provide relevant recommendations and backstopping on the improvement of FEACC Ethics training operations and work with FEACC training team to make the process more productive.

Duties  and  Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit module preparation action plan and standardized tool for the module preparation for approval by the management team
• Conduct desk review, data collection, analysis and interpretation
• Consultations with the key internal stakeholders
• Work closely with training division of the Federal Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission
• Develop the ethics training module consisting of Volume 1-22 as per the standard set.
• Brief the top management and management council the draft document for review and comment
• Present the draft document on the validation work shop and collect comments
• Finalize the Module/ document as per the management and stakeholders comment and also brief the top leadership for final approval and make ready for publication
• Conduct TOT training on the final document to the FEACC and REACC staff and others as necessary.

Management– The overall module preparation process will be managed by FEACC top management and also the adviser is expected to update top leadership on weekly base for regular feedback on the work on progress.

Report writing and Recommendations– The adviser will produce early inception, comprehensive draft and final conclusions report which show the module preparation process start to end.

Learning;-The adviser will oversee team learning in order to develop strong culture of knowledge sharing within the assigned team.

Additional tasks: – FEACC may require additional tasks to be accomplished by the Adviser in the Module preparation process.

Job Requirement

Qualification, Experiences, Essential Skills , Abilities and language

• PhD in philosophy, Psychology, Social-Science, Pedagogy, Educational Planning and Management, Language and Curriculum Development and Instruction.
• 15 Years and above
• Relevant Experience: – Consultancy service experience in relevant area especially in module development.
• Language Requirements
• Fluency in English and Amharic languages, both written and verbal, is required.
• Required Number :2 ( Two)
