Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform and supervise the maintenance, repair, preventive maintenance, and servicing of automation, instrumentation, and electrical equipment in accordance with the manufacturer’s guidelines, ensuring quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Collect, organize, and maintain PLC programs, software, and related data carefully, ensuring they are securely stored in the central database.
• Respond promptly to unplanned equipment failures outside the preventive maintenance schedule by prioritizing repairs based on the severity of the breakdown, ensuring equipment is restored to operation as quickly as possible.
• Closely monitor, inspect, maintain, and carry out preventive maintenance on electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution systems, and promptly troubleshoot and repair any faults.
• Conduct regular inspections of automation equipment, maintain accurate inspection records, and effectively transfer job-related knowledge and skills to colleagues in a professional and cooperative manner.
• Properly safeguard all spare parts, hand tools, and other equipment assigned to the position, ensuring they are used carefully to prevent damage, waste, and unnecessary costs, requests services and spare parts for purchase, monitors, inspects and receives spare parts as per the specifications.
• Be assigned at projects work and supervises the installation of new electrical lines; inspects and ensures that they are installed properly; and reports to the supervisor upon completion of the work.
• Inspects and suggests upgraded methods for performing electrical maintenance and renovation works in a more cost-effective manner; and carries out all necessary work when approved by the department.
• Compile and record information on completed PLC, automation, electrical maintenance, and servicing activities in the equipment history records, and ensure proper documentation is maintained.
• Supervise and inspect the installation of new electrical wiring systems, verify that the work has been completed according to the required standards, and submit completion reports to the immediate supervisor.
• Prepares and submits a detailed report of electrical maintenance and renovation works carried out every week to the responsible department.

Qualifications and Experience

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field and maintain at least 4 years work experience.
