Job Description


Job Summary

The Security Manager is responsible for keeping safe all factories and employees from harm. S/he will be responsible for the day-to-day management and coordination of all factories 3rd party securing management, provides continuous security and contextual information to the immediate supervisor, ensures the security personnel’s compliance with company security policies and maintains data base.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provides and/or implements security and security procedure for all factories.
  • Takes proactive steps to provide a safe and secure working environment to staff and visitors.
  • Prepares and conducts training for new hires and current staff including training on workplace searches, vehicle in and out procedures, and related safety and security topics.
  • Conducts regular walk-throughs and security inspections for all factories.
  • When there is a security is issue in our factories, vehicles and/or employees, serves as the last personnel for deciding on security concerns; assists with security clearance processing for employees and/or assets.
  • Manages the security provider and personnel at all factories
  • Creates all security policies and procedures.
  • Conducts regular security inspections.
  • Investigates security threats and breaches.
  • Writes comprehensive security reports.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

COMPETENCIES: –

  • Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
  • The need for all security personnel to maintain a good level of situational awareness, and to report concerns.
  • Planning and control procedures
  • Communications procedures including emergency phone trees, WhatsApp alert groups, and contact lists.
  • Emergency response procedures including fire evacuation, etc.
  • The location of the nearest police station.

Physical Requirements:

  • Prolonged periods standing.
  • Ability to traverse various areas of the factories to conduct inspections and plan security procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in security personnel management
  • Proven experience directly and indirectly supervising and managing staff and teams.
  • Proven experience as security manager or similar position.
  • Experience using relevant technology and equipment (e.g. CCTV)
  • Experience in reporting and emergency response planning.
  • Excellent knowledge of security protocols and procedures.
  • Understanding of budgeting and statistical data analysis.
