Job Description


BASIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

Responsible for facilitating and coordinating the day to day Sales team’s activities and handling of office management and clerical support to the department’s activity. Act as focal point of contact of guests and sales team members and alike by keeping schedules and providing information, feedback, and maintaining documentation. Handling external and internal telephone calls, messages, appointments, correspondences and organizes office supplies. Prepares sales call schedules, maintains records and filing on a daily basis; compile and distribute daily schedules of sales activity to team members. Promote and sell the hotel’s facilities and rooms to groups and organizations who intended to hold conferences or events coordinating details of the event while sustaining long-term relationships with guests.

Job Requirements

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: In order to be considered for this position, applicants must possess the following minimum qualifications. Applicants without the below listed qualifications need not apply as they will not be considered in the competitive pool.

EDUCATION: Diploma/Degree in Secretarial Science/ Administrative Services & Office Management/Management/Marketing/Salesmanship is required.

EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience in Office Management/operations with excellent skills of customer handling is required.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY: Excellent Working Knowledge of English language is required. Other language ability will be advantageous.

LICENSES/CERTIFICATES: Certificate of computer literacy is desired. Grade 2nd driving license and skill is added advantage.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: The individual must possess the following knowledge, skills and abilities and be able to explain and demonstrate that he or she can perform the essential functions of the job, with or without reasonable accommodation, using some other combination of knowledge, skills, and abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal/ guest contact skills and team player
  • Good computer skills in the Microsoft Office environment
  • Excellent knowledge of the products and services provided by the hotel, guest contact skills
  • Work with minimum supervision and handle multiple assignments & busy environment.
  • Effective communication, problem solving, decision making and conflict management skills
  • Excellent telephone skills and etiquette.
  • Strong planning and organizing skills to meet deadlines with regards to the operational requirements within the Sales Department.
