Responsibility

• Establishing levels of acceptable risk;
• Establishing safety policy;
• Establishing safety performance goals that are in line with other company goals and help seta direction for improvement;
• Allocating sufficient resources;
• Overseeing system performance; and,
• Modifying policies and goals, as necessary.
• Implementing safety programs
• Ensuring that staff receives safety training;
• Ensuring that staff has, and uses, safety
  equipment;
• Enforcing safety rules;
• Including safety in performance reviews;
• Providing safety coaching to staff;
• Monitoring staff safety performance; and,
• Conducting incident investigations.
• Help develop and establish safety programs;
• Participate on safety committees;
• Follow established procedures and not take
  short cuts;
• Assist in investigations;
• Report hazards and incidents

Job Requirement

Qualifications , experience &  skills required:

• BSc in safety management, electricity, electrical engineering, and other relevant engineering field is preferred with 4/3 year of experiences in Safety Management in Aviation
• Training and knowledge of aviation is an essential qualification, with a recognized Safety Management license
• Certificate in occupational health and safety is more preferable.

• Excellent communication skills with the ability to present and explain health and safety topics and other related issues
  knowledge of potentially hazardous materials or practices
• Experience in writing reports of health and safety and familiarity with employee safety requirements
• Outstanding organizational skills and diligent with great attention to detail
• Must be able to multi-task and be self-motivated.

• Management of ECCAIRS; qualification in utilizing computers including databases, Word processing, graphical, spreadsheet and other software packages, proven interest to develop aviation safety (desirable).
