Job Description


Kegna Beverages S.C. is a beverages Manufacturing Industry established on April 1, 2017. The beverages green field project is located in Oromia Regional State in West Shewa Zone on the outskirt of Ginchi town while the project office is located at Elilly International Hotel new building 10th floor Kazanchis, Finfinnee, Ethiopia. The company will engage in producing quality alcoholic & non- alcoholic beer brands in the first phase while the 2nd phase expansion plan is to produce carbonated water, Juices and other portfolios.

Job Summary

  • Responsible of Supply Operational & Tactical Planning, including Demand Planning, Finished Goods Import Planning and Distribution/Replenishment Planning.
  • Ensure the right Planning Governance Framework and defined Ways of Working are embedded within the company processes, including adherence with kegna Standards and Methodologies regarding Planning Capabilities.
  • Support, participate, and be main source of Insights/data/information for Demand & Supply discussions within Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Design and ensure the implementation of the defined Planning Processes Scope, Roles & Responsibilities between our partners and the company.
  • Create all Demand & Supply Plans, and track and manage all relevant KPIs associated with each process
  • Create Statistical Baseline Forecast (Cleansing & Modeling) and manage Forecast Collaboration/Enrichment process with S&OP Manager & Commerce Function in company.
  • Confirms and officialise Short-Term and Mid-Term Demand Plans to all functions in the organization
  • Propose and define, in alignment with the company demand Plan used as input for process cycle
  • Define shipment Plan based on Forecast, Supply Chain Constraints & Stock Analysis, in close alignment with breweries to ensure maximizing output and reducing risk of product availability
  • Calculate and update Finished Goods Stock Policies once a year
  • Discuss and reach consensus with brewery on Supply Plans changes and adjust plans accordingly
  • Generate, tracks and share all relevant Demand & Supply KPIS. Co-owns, with company, Planning KPIs such as Forecast Accuracy, Forecast Bias, Out of Stock, Fill Rate & Finished Goods Stock Levels
  • Manage Demand & Supply Master data on Planning Software tool to ensure the quality and accuracy of plans, including Customers, Products, Network Resources, etc.
  • Lead Demand Review, Supply Review and Alignment Review Meetings from local S&OP Cycle and is the main source of data/information for S&OP Cycle with the brewery and our partners
  • Identify and translate benchmarks in processes and practices from other sources to further enrich and innovate the Planning processes in the company in scope.
  • Responsible for Kegna S&OP Maturity processes, score and improvement

Requirements

Academic requirement: MSC/BSC in Supply chain and logistic or related fields

Work experience: 6/8 years of relevant experience

Additional Competencies:

  • Demand & Supply Planning, Replenishment & Inventory Planning, Materials Requirement Planning (MRP), Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP)
  • Calculate and report KPI metrics, including: Customer fill rate, Brewery fill rate, Forecast accuracy, On time delivery, Weeks of coverage, Brewery capacity, Dump/write-offs
  • Publish Brewery and Volume Performance updates to the business during monthly BPR (Business Performance Review) cycle
  • Build and publishing formal forecast submission as per Brewery deadlines (LE1, LE2, LE3, AP, and SP), to help facilitate yearly Brewery planning
  • Build and present all company monthly, quarterly, annual, and long term shipment forecast according to key milestone dates throughout the fiscal year (LE1, LE2, LE3, AP, SP)
  • Build Inventory Analysis, Weeks of Coverage, Variance and any other adhoc analysis
  • Support Strategic Controller in the development of the 3Y forward looking strategy including shipment forecast and Monthly LE updates.
