Kerchanshe Trading P.L.C is the largest producer and exporter of coffee in Ethiopia, It has a proud history of providing quality coffees to the local and international markets. Currently our company needs a dedicated and motivated candidate.

Responsibilities

• Ensures all working equipment/machines are clean, intact and functioning properly before beginning of daily work
• Ensures the provided sample for roast has a written code number and records the information
• Measures the sample size of 100g green coffee for roasting
• Performs roasting in accordance to the roasting protocol
• Weighs 13.75g of whole roasted bean on each cup and prepares five 250 ml size cups and; one cup is used for flash/cleansing
• Grinds each cup of weighed whole roasted bean on a standard medium texture
• Prepares all necessary materials (sample trays, spoons, etc.…) for cupping and sets up the cupping table
• Ensures materials, equipment and work space are kept clean, and avoids using any contaminants/artificial odor
• Performs other related tasks as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Job Requirements

Qualification : 

• TVET 10+3\Level 4 Dip. or Equivalent Agricultural or related.
• Experience year
• Above 1 years work experience
