Major Duties (Not all-inclusive)

The Market Research Manager typically has a wide range of responsibilities,              which can include:

• Analyzing past research projects to identify areas for improvement in future research efforts
• Planning, conducting, and analyzing surveys of consumers to gather information about their needs and preferences
• Managing staff members who are responsible for collecting data for research projects
• Evaluating the quality of research by ensuring that the study design is appropriate for the objectives of the research project
• Ensuring the research is independently conducted and taking different safeguards in maintaining independence and impartiality
• Creating reports based on findings from research projects, including recommendations for future action based on data analysis
• Developing, recommending, and contributing to marketing plans, strategies, and tactics based on research findings
• Utilize the most appropriate means of gathering and collecting data, that ensures the independence and integrity of the research
• Conducting focus groups or interviews with customers or other stakeholders to gather feedback about products or services
• Coordinating with clients to understand their business needs and goals so that research meets those needs and is aligned with objectives
• Conducting secondary research such as accessing existing databases to determine what has been done previously

• Educational Qualification: B.SC Degree in Economics, Statistics /Mathematics/ or Related Field
• Experience: At least 3-year experience as a Researcher with capability of working on SPSS, STATA or any other statistical software is a plus
