Job Description


Job Summary  

  • The Regional Project Manager is responsible for the overall planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of the HRA project in South and Central Ethiopia Regions. He/she will play roles in guiding, leading and supervising his/her project team members working on the project. He/she works with stakeholders, donor organization and field level technical team to ensure that all HRA project activities are implemented in accordance with the operational plan of the project; ensures that all activities are on the right track to achieve impact; work closely with project Finance and Administrative Officer and Logistics Officer to ensure logistics are facilitated and arranged for smooth implementation of the project activities. He/she creates enabling environment for working with key stakeholders of the project, enhances good relationships with all technical units to ensure program activities are carried out according to the highest standards and remain responsive and appropriate to the local context.

Job Requirement

Qualification :

  • BSc/BA or MSc/ MA degree in Agriculture, Developmental Studies, Business Administration/Management, Leadership, or other Social Science fields from recognized universities or colleges
  • Minimum of 10/8 years proven work experience, of which 8/6 in a supervisory/managerial /project coordination position respectively; NGO experience with strong exposure to USAID-funded projects (i.e. PSNP Program) is preferable; At least 6 years in a middle or senior-level management position; Previous experience in managing complex project or consortiums is an added advantage
