Abay Technical and Trading S.C is the largest automotive company in Ethiopia. In 2009 it has been privatized from the privatization and public enterprise. Prior to that, Abay Technical and Trading Share Company was a government-owned company established in 1994 (1986 E.C) to give technical support on vehicle maintenance, as well as supply spare parts to various governmental organizations and to the public transport sector. The company was structured with core and support departments and management systems to be led by a board of directors owned by the Ethiopian Privatization Agency before it was acquired by its new owners.

Educational Qualification:  Masters Degree/ BA Degree in Accounting & Finance From Recognized University

Related work experience:  Minimum 8 years related work Experience

Requirements and skills

• Successful work experience as manager of finance or similar role for at least 8 years
• Solid working knowledge of corporate finance principles, accounting, industry standards/best practices and relevant laws
• Strong financial analysis skills and proven ability to forecast market fluctuations
• Excellent computer skills, Microsoft Office and financial management software including Peachtree and others.
• Proven knowledge of IFRS.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
