The Lemmi National Cement S.C. Industrial Complex is being constructed as a joint venture between Ethiopian East African Holding Company and West China Cement Limited. The factory is being installed in 270 hectares of land with a total first round investment of $2.2 billion US dollar at Ensaro district of North Shoa Zone, Lemi town. Apart from cement, the industrial complex will produce glass and gypsum products. When completed, it is expected to create a job up to 20,000 employees.

Job Summary

Quarry/Mining Haul Truck Operators transport materials around a minining or quarry site to processing areas.

Education & Experience

• 1 – 3 plus years’ experience operating a Rigid Frame or Articulated Haul Truck
• Familiar with Field Level Hazard Assessment
• Willingness to step out of the cab and perform labour tasks if and when required
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Strict compliance with equipment cleanliness, maintenance & completing logs
• Experience on other equipment is an asset
• Mining and Quarry experience is an asset
• Good communication skills

Working Station: Amhara Region, Semen Shoa zone, Enesaro Woreda Lemi Town 130Kms North of Addis Ababa. The company will have its own residential buildings for its employees in 6 months’ time. But the employee is expected to have his/her own rental houses for the moment.
