Job Description


JOB SUMMARY

  • Ensure quality clinical assessment and case management by providing individual and group counseling, informing the survivors about all available services and drafting an action plan for case management
  • Ensure continuous guidance to GBV and PSS case workers, volunteers and for responsible stakeholders by providing training, ongoing coaching and mentoring in the detection of most vulnerable cases
  • Open individual files for survivors, monitor the service provision and ensure that cases under assistance receive all the care and support needed
  • Support the development and establishment of internal and external referral and coordination mechanisms for assistance to those at risk or survivors of GBV in close cooperation with other relevant actors in each location
  • Produce and maintain accurate records and follow up action plans of the beneficiaries: cases files and technical reports must be archived in locked and secure location
  • Participate to formal and informal meetings with the team, and contribute to a qualitative analysis of the different kinds of issues, at individual, familial and community level

Reporting:

  • Integrate, along with the Protection Information Management Assistant inter-agency efforts aiming to ensure safe and ethical collection, storage, analysis and sharing of reported GBV incident data, using the GBV information Management System (GBVIMS)
  • Ensure a daily quantitative and qualitative reporting through specific reporting tools (Assessment Form, Psychological follow up form, etc.) and provide timely report to Protection specialist

JOB REQUIREMENT

Requirements

  • BA in psychology (clinical psychology, counseling psychology preferable) and above with at least 3 years work experience in GBV programming, and counseling/provision of psychosocial support in an NGO setting
  • Knowledgeable in and previous experience of implementing the IASC MHPSS guidelines and best practices Previous experience of implementing individual and community-based counselling/ psychosocial support
  • Previous experience of working in conflict and fragile settings
  • Training experience required in capacity building and proven track record of training national and partner staff
  • Strong organizational and supervisory skills
  • Proficient in use of Microsoft Office Packages including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Fluency in English is required and fluency in local language is plus
