Job Description


RPC is non-governmental charitable organization established in 1999 and reregistered in 2019 with Agency for Civil Society Organizations of FDRE as a Local Organization. RPC is established with a vision to serve the poorest and vulnerable children, women and community to live life with all its fullness.
RPC is implementing one year; British Council grant scaling up Engagement of Women SHG institution, CSOs and the state towards accountability and responsive government on GBV CSSP2 project in Wonji and Boset Woredas as catchment areas of Adama, East Shoa Zone. The overall goal of the project is contributing to the eradication of GBV and inequality through active engagement of Women SHG institutions, structures, CSOs and state.

Therefore, for this project RPC is looking for experts for the CSSP2 project intended to be implemented in East Shoa Zone, Adama town and its surrounding. The below are the key positions announced:

Qualification

  • BA/MA in Gender and development Studies, gender studies or related Social Science fields.
  • 5 years’ experience in project management in NGO setting and coordination, preferably in Gender, GBV.
  • Work experience in more than one location or area of work, particularly in field positions, is essential.
  • Previous work experience in the civil society Organizations and other international organization is an advantage.
  • Able to work under pressure and passion to work with underprivileged section of a community
  • Experience on SHG approach & working with women at community level
  • Able to communicate with local languages and English

Duration of contract: One Year with possibility of extension
