JOB SUMMARY

Here under is a must, Duties and Responsibilities for the aforementioned position:-

• Willing and fit to carry out mineral exploration operation under rugged, rock hilly and mountainous terrain, sometimes “all fours” required.
• Execute the exploration work as per the approved work program by MoM.
• Ensure timely shipment of samples to analytical
• Conduct Comprehensive Geological and Geochemical Mapping and produce relevant standard Maps & sections.
• Analyze and interpret geochemical samples lab results.
• Produce quarterly and annual exploration works reports to acceptable standard as per the mineral directives of
• Be responsible to determine area to be relinquished and be retained to apply for the renewal of exploration license and responsible to produce all relevant required  documents for License renewal.
• Employ temporary personnel from the exploration areas as needed for the proper execution of work programs.
• Manage all project resources.
• Easily communicate with the local community of the area (Afan Oromo)

JOB REQUIREMENT

Education : MSc/BSc in Geology, 10/12 years direct work experience in the field (Business Oriented Mineral Exploration)

Experience : At least 4 years in project manager position

Additional Training: Valid Certificate of professional Competency from MoM for “Reconnaissance, Exploration and feasibility study pertaining to geology consultancy service for any mineral
