Job Description


Duty station: Robe Town, Bale Zone

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the overall implementation, including functional administrative and financial management of all project activities at the field level,
  • Organize, supervise and support the task of all officers employed by the project and ensure that their work is carried out properly in accordance with their job description,
  • Actively organize, facilitate and participate in planning, implementation and monitoring of activities related to the project,
  • Ensure the involvement of government partner organizations in all project planning process, implementation, and community development activities,

JOB REQUIREMENT

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Minimum of M.Sc. in Rural Development, Agricultural Economics, Development Economics, Rural Livelihoods, NRM/Forestry or related field of studies with 5 or more years relevant practical experience (preferably in the NGO), good management skill, good interpersonal and communication skills, good interpersonal skill and demonstrated skill in report writing in English.
  • Knowledge of local languages – Afaan Oromo is mandatory
