Job Summary

The program manager position is expected to perform at least the following key functions.

• Developing sound project technical and financial proposals in the above mentioned fields of trainings and other community development fields including women empowerment
• Preparing her/his own annual action plan along with the annual budget
• Providing guidance to the trainees to prepare their own individual annual operational plans
• Formally evaluating the job performance of the trainees based on their action plan
• Undertaking tracer study of the graduates and document their situation
• Making the day-to-day follow up of all trainees
• Making sure that the trainers know their trainees level of performance so that they can arrange tutorial and make up classes for the weak trainees to complete their training on time.
• Actively participating in other program and administrative activities of SSCM as assigned

Qualification

• The candidate should have a minimum of BA degree or above in sociology, psychology, social work, gender studies or related social science fields. She/he further needs to have at least five years of work experience in the NGO sector.
