The Ethiopian Business Advisory Service Providers Association (EBASPA) is a newly established association registered with FDRE Authority for Civil Society Organization and accorded legal personality with Registry Number 6441 on 22 September 2022 as a Local Organization in accordance with the Civil Society Organization Proclamation No. 1113/2019. Whilst it mission is to empower and support business service providers in Ethiopia by creating a better regulatory framework and providing services that improve consultants’ visibility, professional status, and capacity, its objectives are to:

• increase membership base through marketing, outreach, and networking,
• advocate for the interests of members and represent their needs to policymakers and stakeholders and
• provide professional and business development opportunities and other services.
  EBASPA seeks to recruit competent staffs for the following vacant posts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct a periodic assessment of capacity gaps and needs of members.
• Prioritize the findings based on urgency and importance.
• Prepare annual, quarterly, and monthly plan for capacity building.
• Analyze required resources to implement capacity building of members.
• Present capacity building plan with the required resources annually and get approval from the board.
• Implement the plan and monitor outcome.
• Continuously aware and follow-up members on issues of code of ethics and professionalism based on set standards.

Job Requirements

• Second degree in MIS, IT, Organizational management, economics, finance and or other business-related fields.
• A minimum of five years’ experience in capacity building related fields with inclusive of capacity gap assessment, capacity building programe development and at least 2 years in areas of product development of services.
• A working experience with business development service to SMEs.
• Teambuilding and networking experience.
• English proficiency level C2.
