Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the planning, implementation and monitoring of staff care and wellness as well the implementation of appropriate Staff Care & Organizational wellbeing policies sent from the P&C division;
  • Prepare annual plan, implement and support staff care initiatives and the staff well-being policy/initiatives within the entire Hub Operations and among the leadership;
  • Facilitate and conduct Occupational Stress Management Education (OSME) training for Hub Operations staff in collaboration with P&C Division,
  • coordinate with the NO P&C Division the Critical Incident debriefing for staff who have undergone stress and/or trauma and be prepared to provide referral services and liaise with staff who are either themselves in medical care or a member of their family is in treatment;
  • Serve as the focal person for CC technical approach within P&C and other organizational effectiveness processes as part of an integrated P & C and CC service delivery;
  • Create awareness for employees what staff care might look like at work, and suggest coping strategies from day to day stress, cumulative stress, Critical incident stress, secondary trauma, etc.
  • Provide continues WV VMV orientation for staff who are hired at Hub Operations and ensure that staff understood World Vision
  • In Collaboration with NO P&C division Plan, organize and Conduct Mission Immersion trainings for Hub Operations Staff
  • coordinate with the Hub Operations Leader to build capacity at the program operation offices in the area of responsibility/expertise in support of decentralization of the PB and F&D function as well as staff spiritual formation;
  • design, implement and support transformational prayer initiatives and the staff well-being policy/initiatives within the organization and among partners
  • Facilitate the implementation of the overall F&D and serve as the F&D focal person for the Hub
  • Ensure the integration of enabling F&D core models into the rest of WVE’s Technical Programs and operations in general by leading the process of developing and implementing integrated F&D strategy and seek alignment with the overall National Office Ministry Strategy so as to improve the well-being of children and our witness to the Kingdom and to Christ.
  • Ensure the spiritual nurture of children by engaging in the planning process of TPs and annual AP management plans and supporting the development of contextually appropriate strategies for the spiritual formation of children, roll-out of appropriate F&D core models, implementing the NO SNC policy, in such a way towards contributing to the Child Well-Being Aspirations
  • Develop technically viable approaches so as to engage key church leaders and other FBO partners into WVE’s ministry through promotion and support of leadership development, engaging churches & FBOs into intentional spiritual nurture of children, advocacy, conflict prevention, and economic development.
  • Network with churches and faith-based actors, identify supports needed and work closely with regional, zonal and district level stakeholders for planning, implementation, reporting and documentation of F&D activities.

Requirements

Required Professional Experience

  • at least 6 years’ professional experience in human resource management, must be conversant with Human Resource practices & procedures, handles on performance management, have ability to manage & facilitate trainings, Good command of oral and written English, a must and Candidate must also be computer literate.

Required Education, Training, License, Registration, And Certification

  • Prospective candidates should have a minimum of inter studies / mix of Bachelor Degree in Human Resources, Social & Development Studies , Humanities , Psychology and Management or related fields, essentially a Master’s Degree in Human Resource Management

Preferred Knowledge And Qualifications

(Preferred: MA in Human Resources, MA Social & Development Studies, MA in Theology, Public Administration, MA in Peace & Conflic Resolution , Business Administration or related fields. A professional certificate in leadership development will also be a plus.)

Travel and/or Work Environment Requirement : Work environment: Office-based with frequent travel to the field

Language Requirements : Well versed in English language
