Position Purpose

The incumbent will work closely with the Sales Director Ethiopia in order to develop company sales and trade marketing performance. He/she will support the Sales Director and Area Sales managers for all aspects of territory management while establishing very close links with the trade and playing an active role in the implementation of M&S initiatives/projects in Ethiopia.

What will you do?

The position holder is generally expected to perform the following core activities but not limited to

  • Set sales targets and present/explain sales team the plans & strategies that needs to be followed to implement the plan.
  • Provide the required support and efficiency needed by Area Managers and the field force team in achieving their distribution objectives.
  • Support Area Managers to organize, plan, and coordinate the daily work of their respective team.
  • Participate in the recruitment and performance evaluation of the field force team.
  • Ensure a regular follow up of the work done and achievements of the team and provide them with the necessary support in overcoming challenges.
  • Lead the planning and execution of the special events and other key consumer and trade marketing events.
  • Identifying opportunities for sales development and ensuring their transformation into sales programs.
  • Responsible for generation of monthly forecasts, in conjunction with planning to ensure appropriate inventory availability levels at NTE/customers

Who are we looking for?

  • University degree qualification in Marketing, Economics, and Business Management.
  • 5 years in FMCG companies, out which a minimum of 3 years’ experience as a manager or supervisor.
  • Advanced knowledge of English (verbal and written), MS Office.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
