Name of the project: Agricultural Mechanisation for Smallholder Farmers in Ethiopia

Duration of the assignment: 24 months of implementation, starting around August 2022

Area of implementation: Amhara / Oromia / Souther Nations, Nationalities and People’s Regional State (SNNPRS)

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Postgraduate university degree in Agriculture; trained in pedagogy either as part of the agricultural education or in the form of additional courses;
• C1 proficiency level in English, in Amharic and Oromifa
• General professional experience: 10 years of professional experience in the agricultural development sector;
• Specific professional experience 8 years for work related to training in agricultural mechanization and own teaching experience including experience in preparing curricula and track record for institutional capacity building including institutional assessments and gap analyses and implementation of training-of-trainers concepts and experienced in working in the rural environment;
• 5 years as project coordinator or team leader;
• Experience in working for donor funded projects preferably in coordinating positions
