Job Description


Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage with potential clients, mining companies, and industry stakeholders to establish strong business relationships.
  • Understand the needs and challenges of clients in the mining sector and present tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay informed about industry trends and competitors.
  • Negotiate contracts, agreements, and partnerships, ensuring favorable terms for the company.
  • Keep abreast of regulatory and policy changes affecting the mining sector and provide recommendations for strategic actions.
  • Participate in industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance the company’s visibility and network.

Job Requirements

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in business development or sales, with a focus on the mining sector.
  • Strong understanding of the mining industry in Ethiopia, including knowledge of key players, regulations, and market dynamics.
  • Track record of successfully closing deals and achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to identify business opportunities and develop effective strategies.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and result-oriented, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, mining engineering, geology, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
