Job Description


World Vision Ethiopia began its first intervention in Ethiopia in 1971 with relief and opened the Ethiopia office in 1975. Relief, rehabilitation and small community development projects dominated the decade that followed. During the 1984/85 drought, World Vision Ethiopia participated in a massive relief operation that saved the lives of millions of people.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver integrated health and nutrition services to the crisis affected people in the Metema entry point through Promote, support and counsel of infant feeding practice
  • Communities/ Maternal awareness on the good nutrition practice at infant feeding raised in the crisis affected people
  • Ensure the proper physical & financial implementation of the project as planned during the desired timeframe, while ensuring efficient and effective utilization of project resources
  • In consultation with WVE project team and partners, ensure the preparation of detail implementation plans (DIP) and budget breakdowns including cash flow for the project based on the project design
  • Print, laminate and Provide the necessary IYCF-E guide lines and protocols for running of IYCF corners, M2M support groups.

Qualification and experiences

of six years of progressive work experience in health and nutrition program management in development and emergency response context in international Non-government organization out of this, one years in IDP/refugee set ups   BSC degree in clinical nurse, mid wife or nutrition from accredited universities or health colleges or health colleges

Certificates on:

  • Training on IYCF-E
  • Training on CMAM, Family MUAC
