Job Description


Job Summary

Fluent with Inventory and Materials Management concepts, such as inventory control and analysis, material lead times, cost analysis, Develops and implements standard work procedures to continually improve overall team productivity, Responsible for safe work practices and Be able to make decisions based on knowledge and experience Commissioning duties for the Mechanical discipline.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Supervising and leading all maintenance processes and operations.
  • Tracking expenses and overseeing the budget for maintenance.
  • Maintaining all machinery to ensure it’s at working standards.
  • Creating and implementing maintenance procedures.
  • Carrying out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues.
  • Execute maintenance by using TPM tools.
  • Periodically monitor, measure, analyze and evaluate the food safety management systems compliance and enhance performance.
  • Continually validate, verify, review, improve and update the food safety management system for continuing suitability, adequacy and effectiveness of the system.
  • Minimize and effectively manage risks and use opportunities to improve performance.
  • Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to detect and resolve problems.
  • Planning and managing all repair and installation activities.
  • Ensuring all department workers adhere to the safety policies and procedures.
  • Ensure reduction targets (environmental objectives) are in place for environmental aspects e.g. water consumption and discharge, waste, energy and greenhouse gas emissions.
  • Implement, document, maintain and continually improve the Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015).
  • Assigning repair schedules and evaluating repair cost estimates.
  • Prevent work-related injury and ill health to workers and provide safe and healthy workplaces.
  • Documenting and preparing daily progress reports and maintenance logs.
  • Overseeing equipment stock and placing orders for new supplies when necessary.
  • Perform other duties as directed by the line manager.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED

  • BSC in Mechanical Engineering
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
