Job Objective:

Fosters an organized system to manage data effectively and ensure clean, consistent data. Ensures use of standard, repeatable processes for data entry and reporting. Supports a culture of informed decision making based on clean, consistent and understandable data.

Key Job Duties and Responsibilities:

• Provides support to establish and govern an enterprise data governance implementation roadmap including strategic priorities for development of information-based capabilities;
• Consults Roll out an enterprise wide data governance framework, with a focus on improvement of data quality and the protection of sensitive data through modifications to organization behavior policies and standards, principles, governance metrics, processes, related tools and data architecture;
• Provides recommendations on how to define roles and responsibilities related to data governance and ensure clear accountability for stewardship of the company’s principal information assets;
• Conducts data management maturity assessments and identify pain points for including data quality, governance, architecture, analytics, metadata management, master data management;
• Consults the development and implementation of enterprise metadata standards, guidelines, and processes to ensure quality metadata and support for ongoing data governance and Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Requirement

Required Educational Qualification and Work Experience: Master’s degree in computer science, information systems or related fields with 7 years of IT experience with a direct responsibility for implementing Data governance /Master data management program of which 3 years of progressive experience as Data Governance /MDM Consultant

Mandatory Requirements/Certificates:
Ability to undertake Data governance and MDM, programming and database design and data visualization, application of open source tools and technologies and ability to coordinate and conduct trainings ensures knowledge management, identify and share best practices.

Highly Recommended Certificate:
Data Governance & Stewardship Professional (DGSP), Informatics Master Data Management Administrator Certified Professional; Informatics Master Data Management Developer Certified Professional
