Job Description


Abeba Giday Business Group (Abeba Giday Trading House, Abeba Transport, Addis Spare Parts, and Bazen Agricultural and Industrial PLC…) are looking for the following vacancy.

The main purpose of job

  • To analyze problems, and provide advice and guidance to a range of organizations on issues and problems relating to policies, organization, procedures, and methods and to recommend appropriate actions, assisting with implementation where required
  • Carry out market research to identify import-export market opportunities
  • Prepare presentations and proposals to prospective clients to sell and promote the company’s products
  • Analyze client requirements and determine the most appropriate product handling, packaging and branding approaches to meet customer satisfaction and create a broad and sustainable market for the company
  • Identify and carry out all necessary research to define client problems
  • Identify and carry out all necessary research to define client problems and demand
  • Carry out research, analyze problems and identify potential solutions for a variety of client’s demands and work intimately to resolve the identified business problems and challenges within the window of the company’s goals and targets
  • Regularly generate and present reports setting out the findings, conclusions, and recommendations arising from market research and analysis projects
  • Maintain regular contact with the clients to ensure that there is regular information about the progress of any business at hand or new business making deals
  • Assist with implementation of consultancy recommendations as required, including providing any necessary training to staff or clients about new business approaches or product
  • Maintain all required project and client data to ensure that full information is available for project planning, contract management, and business development
  • Maintain an awareness of developments in the relevant field of expertise to ensure that advice given is accurate and up to date
  • Develop a marketing strategy to a standard of the state of the art of the global business environment and implement all business contracts with required administrative, legal and financial systems and ensure business contracts’ data are accurate and flawless.
  • Ensure financial and legal records of business contracts are well documented and maintained
  • Create a sustainable market for the company’ and maintain business secrecy

Job Requirements

Knowledge, skills, and experience required

  • BSC/MSc degree in commercial business management, Marketing, Business Accounting, Economics…and related professions
  • Ideally, a higher qualification or a suitable professional qualification and experience
  • At least 5 years’ commercial business management and marketing experience
  • Specialist expertise in a specific commercial business management discipline
  • Capable of developing import-export marketing based working and procedural manuals, leaflets, profiles… (including local and international trading bylaws and business ethics)
  • Broad understanding of commercial business management theory and techniques
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiating and sales skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Excellent decision-making and time management skills…
