Job Description

Essential Function

  • Periodically, review HR strength of branches and recruit based on predetermined criteria and communicate / Human Capital Management Department to assign additional staff if need be or transfer out of the branch/districts;
  • Prepare annual training plan for district branches and forward to HR or consult HR on training needs if necessary;
  • Conduct training need assessments to ensure staff are equipped with relevant knowledge and skill;
  • Engages in employment and other HR functions of the district;
  • Evaluates branches’ volume of transaction and recommends for enforcement of human resource;
  • Ensure coordination, collaboration between HO, district and branches;
  • Facilitates required resource to be avail and logistics requirements are in good order for existing and new branches;
  • Provide any general service and maintenance assistance to district and branches;
  • Make sure the availability of proper equipment’s and working materials are available for branches under the district;
  • Coordinates trainings, inductions, and other experience sharing platforms;
  • Ensures timely maintenance of office equipment and furniture;
  • Engages in logistics and procurement functions of the district;
  • Collect Performa’s from different vendors;
  • Formulate and analyse the technical specification for tenders under the district;
  • Coordinates transportation and motorist facilities under the district
  • Analyses reports and identify activities that are outstanding and need to be acted up on and continuously follow-up on their status;
  • Identify branch competency gap, support and facilitate training program;
  • Follows up the supply of office equipment & materials requested by branches of vital for service provision;
  • Develop cost minimization initiatives to the districts in general and branches in particular;
  • Studies and introduces system and procedure to improve resource utilization and efficiency of branch;
  • Act as secretary/member of district loan approving, recruitment and procurement committee;
  • Preforms other duties assigned by immediate supervisor

Job Requirement

  • BA/MBA/MA Human Resources Management,  Management,  Business Administration, Leadership, Any other related fields 8.5/6.5 years of experience in relevant fields, preferably in banking industry, of which 2 years in  relevant senior officer position  in banking industry
