Job Description


AACCSA is the oldest, largest and strongest Chamber in Ethiopia, representing a wide spectrum of businesses based in Addis Abeba which constitute more than 60% of all businesses operating in the country. Being a member of the World Chambers Federation, AACCSA also has a prominent place in the international network of chambers.

Responsibilities

Under the supervision of the Secretary-General, the manager for strategy and change management department designs, coordinates, implements, and manages organizational change projects that can be initiated by the Board and the top leadership of the chamber as per the five-year strategic plan of the chamber. He/she plans, organizes, directs, coordinates, controls, and supervises the activities of the department. He/she plans, develops, and establishes the quality and change management programs of the chamber; designs appropriate planning, monitoring & evaluation, and reporting (PMER) frameworks and oversees its implementation with regard to the annual and strategic plans of the chamber. The Manager for Strategy and change management offers technical advice to the secretary general on matters of strategic planning, annual planning, monitoring and evaluation, and quality management initiatives.

Requirements

Education: BA /MA Degree in management, business administration, economics, project management, and other related fields of study from a recognized Higher Learning Institution.

Work Experience: Must have a minimum of 10 years for MA and 8 Years for BA of work experience in strategy and change management out of which at least 8 years of experience for BA holders and 6 Year work experience for Master’s degree holders in a related senior management position.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Experience designing communication, onboarding, and training plans
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Planning, Monitoring & Evaluation and Reporting skills
  • Understanding of the business environment
  • Knowledge of management tools, techniques, and methods

Salary: Monthly Gross 47,774 + 6,000+3,000
