We are currently hiring a IT Manager to join our team and be responsible for maintaining and supporting our systems.

Main Responsibilities of IT Manager

Your main responsibilities will include:

• System monitoring and maintenance including configuration & security management, patching, automation, hardening and system upgrades
• Ensuring overall system and server uptime, availability, reliability and security
• Keeping updated, accurate and reliable backups of application and databases
• Liaising with 3rd party vendors, IT providers, etc. for specific requirements
• Documenting policies and procedures
• Troubleshooting server-side issues as they arise

JOB REQUIREMENT

Key Requirements

• degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field
• prior experience in a IT Manager role
• Familiarity with various operating systems & platforms
• Familiarity with CNET products
• good analytical & debugging skills
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with team members

Education: A university BSc/MSc degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering and Software Engineering, or related field

Work Experience: 5+ years of work experience

Location: Addis Ababa/Head Office
