EthSwitch is the National Switch owned by all banks (private and public) operating in Ethiopia, the National Bank of Ethiopia and some MFIs. EthSwitch has been established mainly to Create Interoperability between financial and payment service providers, develop & Institute Domestic Payment Scheme, and provide Shared Infrastructure/Platforms to Financial Institutes. Responsibilities

The Manager for Legal Service Division plans, organizes, directs and coordinates the overall activities of EthSwitch’s Legal Service. S/he gathers facts and establishes evidence, conducts investigation, examination and analysis of cases, preparation of contracts and claims. S/he performs research of the law in the preparation of cases, contracts and claims. S/he prepares data for pleadings; conducts investigation with the police on thefts, if any. Further s/he give advice on legal issues and related matters to the senior managers of the company , prepare contract agreement, provide legal opinion on employees matters etc

handle and follow up legal cases , respond to court orders, decides on whether to institute cases or lodge appeals or to defend cases and represent the company in the court.

Job Requirements

• LLB/LLM in Law or related fields of study
• 6 /4 -year of relevant work experience out of which 2 years in supervisory or senior positions
• Competence MS Office and in the Ethiopian Legal Environment
