Job Description


Since the establishment of Oromia International Bank on September 18, 2008, OB obtained a banking business license, we’ve drawn on our financial strength to serve customers. We also recognize that this past year has fundamentally changed banking by accelerating the shift to digital products and services. We’re positioned well for this future, having launched new tools – like our Oroclick and Mobile Banking app – to complement our 300 branch footprint.

Job Requirement

Education & Experience Requirements: MA/MBA/MSc/BA degree in Management/Economics/Accounting/ Business Administration or related field of study with 5years or 7years of relevant banking experience for MA or BA respectively out of which 2years is supervisory level experience.  Only applicants who have Asset, Liability & Operational Risk Management experience will be considered

Leadership Competencies [Planning, priority Setting, Building team, decision Quality, Drive for Results] and

Functional Competencies [proven experience in identifying, assessing, and mitigating Asset, Liability, & Operational risks, ability to develop asset, liability, and operational risk mitigation strategies and producing comprehensive Asset Liability and Operational risk management report]

Additional/special skill: Knowledge of basic computer skill for all positions.
