Job Description


Job Summary

  • Formulate and implement procedures with regards to transportation, maintenance and other service.
  • Check driving license of the drivers for validity and proper usage.
  • Supervise the usage of vehicles
  • Ensure and follow-up the proper and timely maintenance of vehicle.
  • Supervise the scheduling and dispatching of vehicles according to priorities and needs of various work units.
  • Check to make sure all vehicles are in good condition.
  • Authorize requisition for fuel, oil lubricants and other necessary supplies required to facilitate and carry out transport operation.
  • Make weekly or monthly meeting with the drivers to ensure all drivers are in good performance.
  • Make sure all the drivers are presentable and always in their dress code.
  • Follow and make sure all dispatched vehicles for delivery arrive on timely manner leave their destination.
  • Follow and make sure all drivers hand over keys of the vehicles before leaving work and the vehicles are parked in a designated area.
  • Compare prices of transportation costs by other companies for fair pricing on regular basis.
  • Make sure all vehicles are kept clean and drivers of vehicles check all before operating the vehicle on daily basis.
  • Designate personnel to collect proforma invoice for all purchase of parts.
  • Ensure all logistics employee’s follow company procedure regarding attendance.
  • Process all insurance issue or problem according to insurance company policy in timely manner and company interest.
  • Any other duty may be added at the discretion of the management.

    • Able to write any e-mail to senior managers with good English.

    • In depth knowledge about Excel word, spreadsheet and access. Have a good English writing, listening and speaking abilities.

Job Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA in Logistics of chain supply management or any management educational background.

Experience:

  • 4 and above years of work experience in the logistics and related department
