Job summary

The Loan Officer I analyzes current credit data and financial statements of individuals or firms to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money. He/she Contacts customers and mobilizes savings through the implementation of saving mobilization strategies and prepares reports with this credit information for use in decision-making.

Job Responsibility 

• Makes project feasibility studies for customer characteristics.
• Follows up of loans disbursed to clients.
• Analyzes credit data and financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money.
• Prepares reports that include the degree of risk involved in extending credit or lending money to the client.
• Contacts customers and mobilizes savings through the implementation of saving mobilization strategies;
• Serves as a point of contact for the Branch Office credit and saving customers;
• Conducts interview of urban and rural customers of the Branch Office with respect to credit and saving operations of the Branch Office and advice customers;
• Compares liquidity, profitability, and credit histories of establishments being evaluated with those of similar establishments in the same industries and geographic locations.
• Performs other duties as required or assigned.

About You

Educational Qualification and Experience:

• Level of education: Diploma/BA Degree in any field
• Year of graduation: Before 2015 E.C
• Experience: 3 years or more relevant experience.

Skill and Competence required:

• Knowledge of economic and accounting principles and practices, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data.;
• Good communication skill both written and oral
• Marketing skill and
• Basic computer skills.
