LIYANA HEALTH CARE PLC would like to recruit potential candidates for the Lecturer position of MSc in Anesthesia to assign as regular staff for Yanet-Liyana College of Health Sciences and will engage in administrative and clinical tasks at Yanet clinical facilities and at corporate level and at different clinical facilities of the company.

GENERAL/JOB SUMMARY

The position holder will be regular academic staff of Yanet-Liyana College of Health Sciences and will engage in administrative and clinical tasks at Yanet clinical facilities and at corporate level and at different clinical facilities of the company.

 

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Managerial Functions

Depending on the need, the position holder will engage in administrative and managerial activities within Yanet-Liyana College of Health Sciences and within LIYANA Healthcare PLC mainly in the clinical facilities.

  • Performance Improvement and Clinical Service Functions
    • As member of Yanet-Liyana College of Health Sciences, the position holder will play his/her role in the improvement of the Anesthesia Department of the college
    • The position holder will engage in the teaching activities of the college
    • As a staff in a business unit of LIYANA Healthcare PLC, the position holder will engage in clinical activities of Yanet Primary Hospital and Yanet Trauma and Surgery Specialized Center as regular and overtime assignment in the operation theatres.
  • Performs other duties as directed and assigned by the college and the head office.

About You

Qualification and Work Experience

  • Either of the following:-

    – MSc in Clinical Anesthesia,

    – MSc in Clinical Anesthesia and Leadership,

    – MSc in Anesthesia and Intensive Care,

    – MSc in Managing Analgesia Care,

    – MSc in Anesthesia and Perioperative Medicine,

    – MSc in Pediatric Anesthesia,

    – MSc in Regional Anesthesia and other related fields from recognized university.

  • Work experience of 2 years and above preferably in academia.
  • Attach a clearance that is obtained recently in 1-2 years.
  • Cumulative grade point average (CGPA) of 3.5 and above.

Knowledge and Understanding

  • Sound knowledge of anesthesia science, teaching and practical clinical skills

Personal Qualities

  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff at all levels.
  • Ability to analyze complex issues and identify potential solutions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skill.
  • Team spirit and commitment to quality education and services.
  • Good personality with no substance habituation.
  • Interest in college teaching.
