Ø  Test incoming fabric/sub-material for confirmation to the company and customer standards as per the testing SOP.

Ø  Test sample/bulk garments for confirmation to the company and customer standard as per the testing SOP.

Ø  Produce lab testing reports in a timely manner based on the testing results.

Ø  Participate in required examinations in order to be certified by customers for performing lab testing services on their behalf.

Ø  Participate in pre-production meetings to notify teams regarding any potential problems with the fabric.

Ø  Perform monthly calibration on lab equipment and contact suppliers for assistance in case of equipment malfunction.

Ø  Maintain clear records of the test reports that have been issued by the lab.

Ø  Maintain a clear record of customer lab test requirements.  Update the records whenever new requirements are received from the customer.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in textile/garment engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience on related position.

Additional Requirements:

Ø  Basic computer skill on MS office

Ø  Knowledge and understanding of textile laboratory instrument

Ø  Ability to understand, communicate and write English is required
